Lady shares flatmate's funny reaction after seeing yam for the first time (video)

 The world is a very big and diverse place with different cultures, traditions and lifestyle. Despite social media bridging the gap among different cultures, a lot of people are still oblivious about the lifestyle of others.

Just recently, a Twitter user identified as @larabillionaire took to the microblogging site to share the funny thing she experienced with her flat mate.

Lara explained that her flat mate had spotted her tuber of yam in the kitchen and came to ask her who owned the log of wood in the kitchen.

She wrote: “My flat mate came to ask me if I’m the owner of the log of wood in the kitchen. Here’s a picture of the log of wood.”

 In a subsequent post, Lara shared a video of her flat mate, Sanyam, saying that her tuber of yam was the first one he ever saw and that where he is from in India, they do not eat yam.
