The Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday, 22nd April, has confirmed that dozens of individuals have breakout from mandatory quarantine in the country’s capital, Nairobi.
Meanwhile, a decamp reportedly took place at KMTC Mbagathi centre on Tuesday. Addressing the incident, President Uhuru stated that the government knew the identities of all those who had decamped, also that they will be apprehended and returned to finish their isolation period.
However, as stated by the local media reports, the number of those who escaped at 50, but the Kenyan government is yet to confirm the figures.
