Delta state to Isolate any citizen not wearing nose mask in public

The Govt of Delta State has disclosed that any citizen that is found in public without a nose mask will be forcefully admitted into one of the isolation centres in the state.

Charles Aniagwu, the state’s Commissioner for Information, made this known via Facebook

As stated by him, the fresh order followed a meeting of the Technical Committee for the Prevention of the novel virus in the state.

However, Aniagwu maintained that the protection of Deltans from the pandemic disease is non-negotiable.

“We have the responsibility to protect our people; use of face masks which must be worn properly to cover the mouth and nose must be implemented,” the commissioner said.

Meanwhile, health authorities had endorsed a nose masks, among other things, as part of measures geared towards curbing the unfold of pandemic disease.

Delta state has recorded about 17 covid-19 cases so far with no death record or recovered patient.
