Inspector General of Police extracts E-Money’s Police escort, begins investigation


Mohammed Adamu, the Nigeria Inspector-General of Police, has directed the probe of Emeka Okonkwo aka E-Money, the Chairman, Five Star Group, over his lively, showy, flamboyant lifestyle and glaring misuse of police escorts.

Well, the Chairman, Five Star Group, was said to have drawn the wrath of the police boss for using police officers like domestic servants.

However, it was learned that an order was issued immediately to the Lagos State Police Command to withdraw the 6 police officers attached him.

A top policeman said,

“We received a signal from the Force headquarters on Monday that the police detail of music executive, E-Money, be immediately withdrawn and an investigation into the man be launched.

“The IG was surprised that policemen were attached to him in the first place and were being used like domestic servants, carrying umbrellas, opening doors, and doing menial jobs for him.

“The policemen were discovered to be attached to B Operations at the command headquarters and not MOPOL which is the usual practice. So, we have withdrawn his policemen and we are inviting him for questioning. The policemen will also be interrogated.”

Emeka Okonkwo aka E-Money, who also professes to be an agent of clearing and forwarding, is known for his flamboyant and lively lifestyle. 

E-Money boasts of 2 Rolls Royce, 2 Mercedes Benz G Wagons and other Sports Utility that Vehicles worth billions of naira.

The socialite is often seen on social media mingling with prominent individuals including governors, senators, monarchs, ministers, and other top government officials.
