The Nigeria Apex court has nullified the conviction of Abia state former governor and APC serving senator, Orji Uzor Kalu, and Ude Udeogo, the former Director of Finance and Accounts during Kalu’s administration.
Well, on December 12, 2019, Justice Idris Mohammed of the Federal High Court in Lagos, convicted Kalu to a 12-year imprisonment after finding him guilty of N7.1bn fraud charges levelled against him by (EFCC), the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
