“They laughed at me but I did it first!” – Davido writes As His Hit Single ‘Fall’ Gets Certified Gold In The United States.

A week after being certified Gold in Canada, Davido’s hit single “Fall” has now been officially  certified Gold in US.

The DMW boss released the single which was produced by Kiddominat in 2017.

The track is the most streamed video in Africa with  over 68 Million views on Youtube.

Davido whose real name is David Adeleke took to verified Instagram page to share the good news with his followers and fans, stating that they laughed at him but he did it first. 

He wrote;

“I PREDICTED THIS COUPLE DAYS AGO ! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆!! FALL IS NOW CERTIFIED GOLD IN THE ‘USA !!!!! THEY LAUGHED AT ME BUT I DID IT FIRST !!”

Well, Gold certification means sales of 500,000 units for albums and one million for singles.
