”Avoid Churches that preaches only prosperity every Sundays” – Actor John Boyega advises Christians

British-Nigerian actor, John Adedayo Bamidele Adegboyega, popularly known as John Boyega has urged Christians all over the world not to go to Churches that ignores the current issues happening in the world.

The 28-year-old actor, also called for the boycott and cold-shoulder of churches that only preaches prosperity every Sunday.

He tweeted;

“Christians. Don’t go back to a church that ignores the current issues. Prosperity preaching every Sunday. Kmt.”

A follower however, questioned whether the UK-born actor understands the why people go to Church. This follower also said that Churches should not be involved with politics.

The follower wrote.

“Someone doesn’t understand the point of going to church. They’re not meant to be concerned with politics”,

Then on seeing this, John Boyega replied by tweeting “We are the church. Yes we are.”
