The general overseer the Citadel Global Community Church, formerly known as Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has cautioned that Churches may soon be empty.
He made this warning on The Future of Faith Instagram Live with Chude Jideonwo.
The 65-year-old man of God spoke on governance and the responsibility of the church amid the novel virus.
He asserted that the church is a body that is supposed to be their for its members in these this hard times.
He said;
"The church, which is you and I and the millions of Christians in this country, has one duty; to nourish the body of Christ, honor and serve it. That is you and I.
“If the church does not do its duty, it will soon be empty and cockroaches and spiders will take over."
While speaking about his presidential ambition, he revealed that in the 2011 elections, he was "pressured to run with Atiku."
Bakare disclosed that God Almighty's counsel over him has remained that his political career is not yet over.
He also added that the counsel also included that he will be called upon one day for more responsibilities and he is obligated to answer.
The also talked about the state of violence against women, role of religion in the continued subjugation of women and how women had continue to suffer domestic violence in men's hand.
