“Innocent until proven guilty, stop social media trial” – Legendry singer, Dbanj writes, as he dances in reaction to rape allegations (video)


Popular Nigerian legendary singer, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo better known as D’banj has yet again reacted to the backlash he received after a Nigerian lady identified as Seyitan Babatayo accused him of raping her at Glee hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, back in 2018.


It should be recalled that report surfaced last week that the lady was nabbed by the police in Ikeja, Lagos state, over her allegations and this angered lots of Nigerians including some celebrities, as they took to social media to call out the singer and accuse him of intimidating the rape accuser.


Then, while reacting to the backlash he received following the alleged nab of Seyitan, Dbanj shared a video clip of himself via his verified Instagram page, dancing to his hit song ‘Olorun maje’ which is a Yoruba phrase that means ‘god forbid’.


The 40, captioned his video post; ”Innocent until proven guilty…., STOP SOCIAL MEDIA TRIAL #SAY NO TO RAPE AND HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATION”
