Last 24 hours, flamboyant Nigerian Instagram celeb and big boy, Hushpuppi and his friend, Woodbery were apprehended by the FBI and the International Police, in Dubai.
As it was reported, they were picked up on the grounds of money laundering after some cases of fraud was linked to them.
Also, they allegedly were part of a Nigerian crime ring that siphoned millions of dollars from US unemployment programs amid COVID-19 shutdowns.
It was also reported that they took advantage of United State that were already struggling to process a flood of jobless claims amid the coronavirus pandemic disease and related government shutdowns.
The Nigerian socialite, Woodberry and others nabbed are reportedly on their way to US. Their properties have also been sealed with warrants.
Well, it would be recalled that in 2020, a similar raid by the FBI was made on Hushpuppi’s former friend, Dubai-based Nigerian billionaire Mompha who was also nabbed for money laundering
