Bukola Saraki, the former Senate President, has denied Ray Hushpuppi after the All Progressives Congress (APC) called on EFCC to probe him over alleged links with the suspected internet fraudster.
It should be recalled that DICKSON BLOG reported lately that the APC has called on the EFCC and other relevant security outlets to investigate some prominent members of PDP, over their alleged links with the Dubai-base Nigerian big boy.
The party highlighted that the probing is essential due the fact that many of PDP stalwarts had several meetings in Dubai ahead of the 2019 general elections and were seen with Hushpuppi.
The press release by the APC reads;
”That the PDP leadership turned Dubai into their “Strategic” meeting place ahead of the 2019 general elections in Nigeria and “Hushpuppi’s” affinity with the PDP leadership is not mere coincidence.
At different times, “Hushpuppi” was been photographed in Dubai meeting with the PDP’s 2019 presidential candidate, Alh. Atiku Abubakar; former Senate President, Bukola Saraki; former Speaker, House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara; Senator Dino Melaye among other PDP stalwarts.
While relevant authorities investigate the nature of their relationship and business partnership, we also challenge the PDP leadership to do same by opening up on the nature of the relationship, particularly the kind of services the arrested “Hushpuppi” provided them.”
However, the former Senate President, through his media aide, Yusuph Olaniyonu in a swift reaction, described the opposition party’s statement which attempted to link him with Ray Hushpuppi as “irresponsible and cheap politics”.
Saraki in the statement cautioned that he has no form of association with the said suspect, neither does he know him in any way.

Nigerian former vice president and 2019 PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has distanced himself from Ray Hushpuppi after the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC) called for an investigation over his alleged links with the cyber criminal.
Well, the ruling party in a statement released by Yekini Nabena, its National Publicity Secretary, called on the relevant security agencies to investigate the links Ray Hushpuppi had with some PDP top members in the likes of Bukola Saraki, Yakubu Dogara and Dino Melaye.
While, reacting to the statement released by APC, the media aide to the former Vice President, Paul Ibe, stated that the picture of Ray Hushpuppi and Atiku going viral was just a mere photo-op and not at any meeting as is being speculated.
The statement from Ibe read in parts;
”It is curious that the All Progressives Congress is mischievously trying to link Atiku Abubakar to the alleged fraudster, Ramon Abbas, AKA Hushpuppi, simply because he was photographed with Atiku at an event where many Nigerians had gathered.
For the avoidance of doubt, it was a mere photo-op and not at any meeting as being ingloriously speculated. We would advise the APC and Mr. Nabena to be very mindful of such senseless statements in the future especially as the case under reference is a subject of litigation in another country.
Had they been more sensitive, they would have come to terms with the reality that the case is a national embarrassment – not something to cheer about for any political blackmail.”

However, the president in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, on Saturday, 4th July, 2020, wished the young man all the best in his studies and work as a teaching assistant in the same university.
He further advised all Nigerians, home and overseas, to keep celebrating the age-old, irreplaceable attributes of honesty and decorum, and shun the microwaved, get-rich-quick tendencies that bring individual and collective shame.

The YBNL boss in a short tweet via his verified Twitter page asserted that he didn’t forget his password as many of his concerned Nigerians thought.
He then, said that he has been working on his next album titled ‘YBNL Mafia’.
As stated by him, the album is 95% ready and will be out anytime soon.
He wrote;

She has come hard on Nigerians for celebrating the nab of Nigerian instagram celeb, Hushpuppi.

Nigerian popular journalist Deji Faremi has alleged that suspected cyber fraudster, Ramon Abbas better known as Ray Hushpuppi also scammed a Serie A club.
It should be recalled that Ray Hushpuppi now faces a statutory maximum sentence of 20 years in a US federal prison after being extradited from Dubai to the United States.
As revealed by the journalist, Lazio fell for a scam and paid the final €2 million instalment of Stefan De Vrij transfer fee into an account pretending to be Feyenoord’s. Deji alleged that the account belongs to the Nigerian instagram celeb.
He tweeted;

The list of Ray Hushpuppi’s cyber crimes is growing fast as the FBI unveiled that it was the internet fraudster and his crew who were behind a £2m scam of Italian Serie A club Lazio.
It should be recalled that back in 2018, Lazio reportedly fell for scam and paid the sum of €2 million of the final installment fee for defender Stefan de Vrij’s transfer from Dutch club Feyenoord to fraudsters.
The Italian club had received an email that appeared to be from the Dutch champions demanding for the sum of €2 million along with bank account details, and duly sent the money.
But Feyenoord didn’t received the money and also alleged to have no knowledge of the email.
Well, infamous scam has finally been solved after the Nigerian socialiate and his crews were found responsible for diverting the cash.
However, Brila FM sports radio who reported the information gathered, wrote:
“The FBI has revealed that it was Ray hushpuppi and his gang who were responsible for the £2m scam perpetuated on SS Lazio in a payment intended for Feyenoord for Stephan de Vrij.
The infamous scam from 2018 has finally been resolved.”

American rapper Kanye West, a vocal supporter of United States President Donald Trump, has announced that he will run for president in 2020, raising bewildered reactions to his move to challenge Trump and the presumptive Democratic rival, former Vice President Joe Biden.
“We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States,” West wrote in a social media post late on Saturday (01:00 GMT Sunday), adding an American flag emoji and the hashtag “#2020VISION”.
It was not immediately clear if West was serious about vying for the presidency four months before the November 3 election, or if he had filed any official paperwork to appear on state election ballots.
The deadline to add independent candidates to the ballot has not yet passed in many states.
