The Enugu state police command earlier nabbed one married couple for child abusing and drilling a nail into the head of their 10-year-old maid, Nneoma Nnadi.
In a statement released by Daniel Ndukwe Ikea, the state police command spokesperson, says that the said woman, Ifeoma Ozougwu, 24, and her husband, Jude Ozougwu, 40, were apprehended following credible information received 2nd July, 2020, alleging that a woman in Akonameze Street, Thinker’s Corner, Enugu, inflicted degrees of injuries on her minor female housemate.
Thus, upon all the interrogations, the couple denied inflicting injuries on the young child, and rather accused each other for being responsible for the evil act.
