The Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu has been suspended by President Buhari, the BBC reports.
As it was reported, Magu slept in a police cell at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Headquarters in Abuja last night.
Thus, this followed a 6-hour grilling by a presidential panel, led by a former president of the Court of Appeal, Justice Ayo Salami.
The president set up the panel to probe various allegations levelled against Magu, following a petition by Abubakar Malami, the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, and the Department of State Service (DSS).
