Man lost a job of N200k after referring his boss as ‘uncle’

One Nigerian man has reportedly fired from his well-paying job for calling his boss ‘uncle’ during an interview in Lekki area of Lagos state.

As it was reported by self-acclaimed by investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo who posted details of the incident via her official Twitter page, she disclosed that the applicant was actually the best qualified candidate for the job, but he lost that opportunity because of his silly error.

In Kemi’s words;

“A man lost a N200K per month job at my brother’s company in Lekki. He was the best qualified candidate. He lost the opportunity simply because he called my brother “Uncle” during the interview. Stop addressing people with titles you feel comfortable with. RESPECT”
