There were heavy gunshots heard today, 8th July, 2020, in Aba, Abia State, after a police officer shot dead an Abia State Taskforce Board of Internal Revenue agent in front of 'Crunches fast food restaurant' (Factory Road Aba, Abia State).
DICKSON BLOG gathered that the deceased identified as Ifeanyi Kalu, who was a member of the task force was shot dead while another person was seriously injured making others scamper for safety.
Well, an eyewitness revealed that trouble began when a driver of the fast-food restaurant (Crunches) called the police officers on phone that their vehicle has been tolled by the taskforce.
"When the Policemen came with AK-47, they started shooting sporadically and killed one of the members of the task force
"And another person was seriously injured. Both of them have been taken to the hospital. Many people are running for safety and the Crunchies office has been shut down at the moment.”
