The Nigeria president, President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the suspension of acting EFCC boss, Ibrahim Magu.
This was made known Friday, 10th July, by Abubakar Malami the attorney-general of the federation, in a state through his Spokesman, Umar Gwandu, This Day reports.
As disclosed by the statement, the President Buhari has named Mohammed Umar, the EFCC head of operations, as the new acting chairman.
Now, the suspended acting chairman, Magu is being probed by a presidential panel investigating the alleged insubordination and corruption.
Well, he was accused of insubordination and re-looting of recovered funds by Mr Malami.
Magu was, suspended from office on Tuesday, 7th July, 2020, and is still being detained while the panel investigating allegations against him still sits.
