There’s been a fundraiser of over N22 million by Nigerians for the welfare of the children of Olamide Omajuwa Alli, the woman who was murdered by her fiancé, Chris Ndukwe in Lekki, Lagos state.
However, the said fundraising initiative was initiated by Accessing Grants for Startups better known as AGS Tribe, a women entrepreneurial empowerment community, which Alli until her death was an active member.
The mother of two was brutally murdered by her fiancé, Chris Ndukwe on th 21st of June, 2020 in their home in Lekki, Lagos state.
Thus, after killing her, her killer went on to kill himself too by drinking a poisonous substance, leaving behind their 2 kids.
Meanwhile, following the tragic incidence, AGS Tribe with the permission of the family of Alli announced the start of a fundraiser in her honor.
As revealed by the organization, the proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to set up a Trust Fund for her children (7 and 3 years old).
The organization also disclosed that the Trust Fund, which will be managed by FBN Quest Trustees, was set at N20million target.
Almost 7 days after the community first announced the Trust Fund, the organization has now announced that it has pass the set target, raising over N22million.
