2020 BBNaija: Rapper, Ikechukwu apologizes for labeling Erica a gold digger

In the wake of being outed via social media, popular Nigerian rapper and singer, Ikechukwu Onunaku, otherwise known as just “Ikechukwu” or “Killz”, has apologized for calling the ongoing Big Brother Naija housemate, Erica a gold digger.

Ikechukwu’s comments which have been dubbed as sexist and heartless by Nigerian netizens, was made when he took to official Twitter page to comment on the 2020 reality TV show.

Recounting the various love interests in the house, the rapper revealed that Kiddwaya has found out that Erica is simply a gold digger.

In his words....

“So this is what im seeing so far: kidd dey wait to waya erica b4 e drop am. But e go use am reach finals. Laycon dey wash eem head clean of erica with vee. But ozo sabi say nengi fit do am like erica so he press brake small now nengi like am die. Ozo na Eze Meanwhile kidd dey vex say ozo amd nengi dey gel. (Be like spoilt child syndrome) but e fit be say kidd don realize say erica na golddigger na why she dey chewing gum de guy. Now kidd is kinda stuck.

Meanwhile, as expected, the statement didn’t go down well with many fans of the reality show, and now, he has taken to his official Instagram account to apologize.


As stated by him, he had not been watching the TV reality show but made the expression based on what he had read on the platform.
