5 days after the Ondo State Security Network Agency alias operation Amotekun was propelled by the state Governor, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have struck in the state.
Well, the armed men on Saturday night, 15th August, were said to have abducted one Surajudeen Alao, a native of Oba Akoko.
Another yet to be recognized casualty was also abducted alongside Alao.
Well, the duo were said to have been kidnapped on Ikun-Oba Akoko road while coming back from Ikun Day Festival.
However, it was reported that the incident caused anxiety among residents of Oba Akoko.
Nevertheless, Akoko axis in the Northern Senatorial District of the state has been a notorious route for bandits where they operate unhindered.
The casualties’ families claimed they were yet to be contacted by the kidnappers.
