Kano State Police command rescue man locked up in room by parents for 7 years in the state (Photos/Video)

The Kano State Police Command have rescued one Ahmad Aliyu, a 32-year-old man, who was reportedly locked up by his dad and stepmother for 7 years in Farawa Babban Layi, Mariri Quarters in Kumbotso Local Government Area of the state.

As it was reported, Aliyu spent days without food and water and drank his urine. He was allegedly locked up by his parents on the suspicion that he had begun smoking and engaging in drugs consumption.

Nevertheless, he was rescued after a concerned neighbor alerted the police in Farawa and Human Rights Network, who came to rescue him.

At the point when the police and the human rights bunch showed up, the stepmother insisted that Ahmad was not at home, which forced the team to break down places in the house in looking for him.

The police command thereafter nabbed the man and his wife and took away their victim.
