#EndSARS: “Federal Government Should Shut Down Social Media” –Investigative Journalist, Kemi Olunloyo

Well known Nigerian journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has slammed the ongoing #EndSARs peaceful protest and further urged the Federal Government to shut down social media.

Well, the self-acclaimed investigative journalist considers the fight against police brutality and badgering of Nigerian adolescents as inappropriate and a pointless reason. 

She, in a tweet via her official twitter page, expressed that such a move isn't so special as nations like China, Turkey, and Tokyo have once shut down the internet in such circumstances.

In her words;

“China did it Turkey did it Togo did it I’m an international Journalist and I support the Government SHUTTING DOWN @Twitter @instagram and @Facebook during the #EndSarsNow uprising. Last week I said this country will shut down in a week, the same ppl abusing me. #ShutltAllDown.”
