“I have never collected a dime from the government“ – Veteran Nollywood Actress, Omotola Jalade addresses those who said she has been bribed by the govt

Renowned Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has cleared the air over those who disclosed that she has been compromised after she queried the Lekki Toll Gate masacre.

It could be recalled that the 42-year-old thespian in a tweet a week ago, asked that the family members of those who reportedly lost their lives during the Lekki toll gate shooting, to come forward, and she appealed that if there were no deaths, people ought to halt with the sensationalization.

As expected, numerous Nigerians hauled her for that statement, and some said maybe she has been paid off by the government.

Now, the mother of 4 has addressed the situation, saying she has never received bribe or a dime from the government.

In her words;

“I am not somebody you can lure with money. I have never in my life been bribed by government, I have never collected government dime.”
