The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has expanded the scope of the Panel of Enquiry and Restitution for Victims of SARS.
On 15th of October, 2020, the committee, announced that they will look into rights abuses by the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
On Tuesday, 27th October, the governor affirmed that the panel will investigate the Lekki masarcre.
“The scope of the panel has been expanded to cover the Lekki toll incident”, the governor tweeted.

Sittings will take place on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm at the Lagos Court of Arbitration.
