A clip has emerged the social media of a Lagos state lawmaker, Desmond Elliot, admitting the social media contributed gigantically to the triumph of his political race into the Lagos State House of Assembly. 

The 46-year-old thespian cum politician has been trending across the web space for the wrong reason after he was accused of being in support of the social media regulation bill.

An epic throwback short video of Desmond Elliot that nonetheless emerged from 2015 capturred the moment he applauded the power of social media.
