Many Nigerians residing in New York, USA, have staged an #EndSARS peaceful protest calling for an end to police brutality and badgering in Nigeria.
Well, the peaceful protesters who trooped out in their numbers, alongside with a few American companions, demanded that the Nigeria Police Force be reformed with immediate effect.
“Solidarity forever”, the protesters chanted as they marched on the street of Manhattan to the United Nations house where they demanded the Deputy UN Secretary-General, Amina Mohammed, to speak out condemning police brutality and harrassment in Nigeria.
It could be recalled that we also reported that Nigerians staged #EndSARS peaceful protest in Netherlands during which a mild drama played out as they tackled the Nigerian ambassador who came out to address them.
