An English football club, Arsenal football club, has sympathized with casualties of the Lekki toll gate killings of 20th October 2020, noting that they can’t imagine the pains of those affected.
Well, the self-acclaimed Gunner, sent their sympathy to their Nigerian fans via a post they made today, October 24, via their official Instagram and Twitter accounts.
As per Arsenal, their attention was brought to the sad event via remarks and replies of their Nigerian fans on their social media posts.
The club’s heartwarming message reads beneath…
“To our Nigerian fans, we see you, we feel you. We have read our replies, we have seen the footage. We cannot imagine the pain. Our thoughts are with everyone in Nigeria. Stay strong, stay safe.”
