The Amazon best-selling author and former spokesman to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has advised and revealed the reasons why bride price ought to only be paid for virgins.
The controversial socialite penned down this in a post he shared via his official Twitter page, today, 7th November, 2020.
As per him, biblically there is scriptural evidence in Exodus chapter 22, from its verse 16 down to 17 that bride price should only be paid for women who are to be married as virgins.
Going further, the author also argued that in deeply rooted traditional African society, bride price is meant to be paid for only virgins and not non virgins.
In his words,
