The Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) unit of the Nigeria Police Force, on Monday, 2nd November, 2020, kicked off training at the Police Mobile College in Nasarawa State.

Reports accumulated had it that Muhammad Dingyadi, the minister of Police Affairs, was present at the training ground to inspect the training exercise of more than 400 personnel in Eggon.

Upon inspection, the Minister stated that he was ecstatically happy with the progress they were making, and encouraged them to be good role models of the society.

In his words...

“I believe at the end of this exercise you are going to come out as very dedicated and very committed mobile police officers who will be equal to the task we have assigned to you.

”Your new responsibility as a replacement to SARS is to face the challenges of armed robbery and other crimes across the country.”
