Nigerian socio-political activist, Aisha Yesufu has reacted to Davido’s tweet after he claimed $3 million which is $1 billion nairas is chicken change for him.
This all came about when the DMW boss, Davido told another musician to work extremely hard to own parts of companies rather than signing endorsement deals.
Hours after tweeting, a fan replied him saying;
“Davido just said f._v-ck endorsement deal because he doesn’t get proper offers from proper companies. Who would say no to a UBA deal worth $3 million?”
Fuck an Endorsment deal ask for part of the company .. #Changetherules

This was where Davido turned up heads after he disclosed how valuable $3 million is to him. It attracted reactions from several people including Nigerian fiction writer, Gimba Kakanda wrote;
“3 million dollars is a lot of money even for Dangote. The richest Blackman on the planet would sense any debit of that size. That’s about 1.4 billion naira in the parallel market today.”

At this juncture, Aisha Yesufu who chanced upon Gimba’s tweet explained that there are different ways people see money and how they react to it. Aisha stated that while Dangote would be thinking of how multiply the money, Davido would be finding ways to squander the money.
Business people and artistes are on different levels my brother. Dangote go think of how to make the money work for him while Davido will think of how to spend the money https://t.co/rvL5T80rr4
