History made as Wizkid wins BET Soul Train Award for a 2nd time, as in back-back

Sensational Nigerian singer, Wizkid has made history as the 1st Nigerian singer to ever win BET Soul Train award for a 2nd time.

The ‘Smile’ crooner just bagged his 2nd BET Soul Train Award and the big feat was announced via his official news platform and fan page on Monday, 30th November.

Beyonce’s Brown Skin Girl featuring Wizkid, Blue Ivy and Saint JHN which was nominated for the Video of the Year has now been announced as winner of the prestigious category.

For copping the prestigious award for a 2nd time, Wizkid has now become not only the 1st Nigerian singer to ever win the award but also, the only Nigerian singer to have won it twice in a row, back-to-back.

The Soul Train Music Awards is an annual show that honours the best in African-American culture music and entertainment.
