“I pray we start raising women that demand for respect they deserve and never settle for a life that diminishes them” – Singer, Simi pens down

Popular Nigerian singer and mother of one, Simi has cried out over the abuses women go through on daily basis, says it is heartbreaking.

The ’Duduke’ crooner who stressed that it is heartbreaking to see and hear what a few women pass through daily, added that it is so bad that some of those women think they deserve to pass through such because “they are women”.

Going further, she prayed that her generation begins to raise women who will demand for the respect they deserve and never settle for a kind of life that continuously diminishes them.

She said:

“Woman don suffer sha. The kind of shit I see/hear many women go through everyday could break your heart. It’s so bad that many women even think they deserve the suffering, BECAUSE they’re women. I mean “why else should I suffer this much if I don’t deserve it.” My heart man.
