Nigerian rapper, Falz excited as he’s honoured with street named after him in Lagos state (Photo)


Sensational Nigerian rapper and activist, Folarin Falana alias Falz has taken to social media to show his excitement after a street in Lagos state got named after him.

The ‘Bop Daddy‘ singer revealed this on Friday, 27th November, via his official Instagram handle after he shared a picture of himself standing under a street sign .


And on the street sign, one could see “Falz Falana Lane” boldly written on it.

While sharing his excitement, he stated that there is “wahala” for any individual who doesn’t have a street named after them.


In Nigeria, streets are named after people for a purpose. It could be for their impacts landmark achievements or affluence.

There is no doubt that the rapper was honoured for his impact in music and society at large recalling how he used his voice during the recent EndSARS movement.

As expected, his fans and industry colleagues have reacted to the picture of the singer. While Many applauded him with different love emojis, others noted that he deserved it.
