President Muhammadu Buhari, Army Chief Buratai, Sanwo-Olu, And Among Others Panic As UK Parliament Propose Sanctions Against Nigerian Officials Involved in Lekki Massacre During #EndSARS Campaign

Silas Ojo’s petition to sanction the federal government has turned out to be successful after the United Kingdom government debated on it yesterday, Monday, 23rd November, 2020.

The UK Parliamentary debate which lasted for over 1 hour, saw the members of Parliament condemn the violence that happened at Lekki Toll Gate on Tuesday night, 20th October, 2020 and sought to impose sanctions on the Nigerian government officials who are connected to the killing of EndSARS peaceful protesters.

”Work is underway to consider how a global corruption sanction regime could be added to the government’s armoury,” a representative for the Minister for Africa, James Duddridge, stated.

”This government will continue to press the Nigerian government and its security services to uphold human rights and the rule of law, to investigate all incidents of brutality, illegal detentions and the use of excessive force and to hold those responsible to account.

We will closely monitor the judicial panel of inquiries and continue to advocate for investigations into police brutality. The government will consider its options as the panel’s work progresses.”

Furthermore, their report also featured the former Nigeria head of State, Major General Yakubu Gowon who has been fingered in a corruption scandal over a huge amount of money from the central bank and hidden in the United Kingdom.

”We need to stop those who are profiting from the wealth of that great nation and hiding it here. Some people will remember when General Gowon left Nigeria with half the Central Bank, so it is said, and moved to London,

We know that today, even now in this great city of ours, there are sadly some people who have taken from the Nigerian people and hidden their ill-gotten gains here.”
