Starboy Wizkid’s “Made In Lagos” album becomes highest Nigerian charting album in US iTunes history

Afro-beat maestro, Wizkid’s album “Made In Lagos” has set a new record as it becomes the highest-charting album by a Nigerian in US iTunes history.

Popular American On-Air Personality, Mike Adam made this known in a recent tweet he made via his official Twitter page.

He disclosed that Made in Lagos has become the highest-charting album by a Nigerian artiste in US iTunes history, peaking at number 3.

He tweeted, “#MadeInLagos by @wizkidayo has become the highest charting album by a Nigerian artist in US iTunes HISTORY (#3 peak)!!! This is beyond huge! Congrats #WizKid!”


However, Nigerians on Twitter took to the comment section to opine their thoughts about the development.

While some applauded the feat, others nevertheless didn’t appear too thrilled with the news as they felt that the album came out below expectations.
