Nigerian Afro-bear maestro, Burna Boy organised an indoor party to celebrate his Second Grammy nomination along with his family and well-wishers.
The sensational singer earned his 2nd straight nomination. A year ago, he was nominated but missed out on winning the award to veteran singer, Angelique Kidjo.
His latest album, ’Twice As Tall’ will be contesting with 4 others for Best Global Music Album award.
And, they are “Fu Chronicles,” by Antibalas a Brooklyn based Afrobeat band, “Agora,” by Bebel Gilberto, a Brazilian singer, “Love Letters,” by Anoushka Shankar, a British Indian sitar player and “Amadjar,” by Tinariwen, a band in Northern Mali.
Burna Boy posted a series of videos via his official Instagram stories in which his family including his mum (who doubles as his manager) had gathered to celebrate.
