Nigerians on social media users have reacted to the rants by talented Nigerian singer and songwriter, Omah Lay, after he alleged he was set up in Uganda after he performed at a show.
In a series of tweets, Omah Lay was confused as to why he was treated like a killer as his only motive was to perform at the event.
A tweet by the Ugandan Police Force revealed that Omah Lay and Tems have been charged to court for engaging in acts that could lead to the spread of covid-19.
The Ugandan police tweet reads below;
“The earlier plans of releasing them on police bond, were suspended after their casefile was sanctioned by the Office of the DPP.
They were jointly charged with four other Ugandans. All remanded till Wednesday 16.12.2020.”
The Nigerian trio of Stanley Omah Didia alias Omah Lay, Temilade Openyi alias Tems and Muyiwa Awomiyi have been charged to court in Makindye on charges of Negligently doing acts likely to spread an infectious diseases C/S 171 of the Penal Code Act.

Well, reacting to Omah Lay’s lamentations, some Nigerians wondered why Ugandan police force are maltreating the Nigerian singer while others asked him, why he went there in the first place and who sent him.
