An emotional scene played out when famous Nigerian artist, Timi Dakolo, surprised a newly wedded bride at her matrimonial home with a stunning performance.
The reality star revealed via his official Instagram handle that the couple had invited him to perform at their wedding ceremony but because of other commitment he had, he couldn’t honor their invitation so he and the groom planned to surprise the bride early in the morning.
The wedded wife burst out into laughter amid tears of joy to see what she asked for being delivered in the most unexpected way.
Therefore, taking to his official Instagram page to share the video, Timi Dakolo wrote,
“So I got a call for a wedding in abuja for a lady that just wanted me as her only wedding gift. Unfortunately I had committed to some other gig and the husband and other people kept calling.
“At some point, we had to come to an agreement, because they refused to give up. I mean the calls kept coming with the line have you changed your mind?.
So we had to come up with a plan. Let’s wake her up and make her wish come true.Thanks to her colleagues (Planning committee). Happy married life to OGECHI AND NWACHUKWU EKE. ”
