Popular Nigerian music maestro, Davido Adeleke, has been called out on social media for endorsing a man’s opinion on why it might not be easy for Burna Boy might to bag a Grammy award in 2021.
It could be recalled that the self-acclaimed African Giant, was nominated for the ‘Best Global Music Album’ category of the 2021 Grammys.
Well, in the nominee list, Burna’s ‘Twice As Tall’ album secured a spot against Antibalas’ ‘FU Chronicles’, Bebel Gilberto’s ‘Agora’, and Anoushka Shankar’s ‘Love Letters’ in the ‘Best Global Music Album’ category.
Nevertheless, in a recent article shared on the chances of Burna to win the award, it was stated that Burna Boy might not emerge the winner due to the competition posed fellow contenders who released FU Chronicles.
A fan then added that FU Chronicles by Antibalas is a big threat which could ruin the ‘Twice As Tall’ album maker.
Thus, Burna Boy’s fans went through the list of individuals who liked the tweet, only to see Davido among them.
