The Lagos State judicial panel established to investigate the October 2020 Lekki massacre has given the go-ahead order for the Lekki toll gate resumption of its operation.
The 9-man panel was set up by the Government of Lagos State to investigate the shooting that led to the loss of lives at the tollgate on the night of 20th October, 2020.
As per a report by The Cable, the panel returned the control of the tollgate to the operators, the Lekki Concession Company, on Saturday, 6th February, 2021.
The company had asked the panel to permit it to take over the tollgate for repair since December last year.
