In spite of presence of heavy security and mass arrests, more protesters have stormed the Lekki tollgate in their numbers to protest against the re-opening of the tollgate.
It could be recalled that popular Nigerian comedian and comic actor, Debo Adebayo alias Mr. Macaroni and several other #OccupyLekkiTollgate peaceful protesters were nabbed by security operatives today.
The comedian had joined the protest against the planned re-opening of the Lekki tollgate following alleged killing of protesters on 20th October 2020.
The protesters who are against the re-opening of the tollgate are insisting that families of those who lost their lives at the tollgate on 20th October 2020 must get justice before the tollgate can reopen.
In spite of these arrests, more #OccupyLekkiTollgate unarmed protesters have stormed the Lekki tollgate to protest against the planned reopening of the tollgate.
