The Commissioner added that the ESN operatives were hoodlums and would be treated as murderers by the Governor Hope Uzodinma-led state government.

Confirming that the state government invited the military to carry out the operation in the area, the commissioner stated that, “the Imo state government invited the military to flush out the hoodlums who call themselves ESN in Orlu.”

Akaolisa lambasted the leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, accusing him of endangering the lives of the people through the activities of ESN.

While accusing the former governor of the state, Rochas Okorocha of playing politics with the crisis, Akaolisa thanked the federal government for sending troops to flush out the ESN operatives.
