An eight-months-old pregnant Taekwondo athlete identified as Aminat Idrees finishes with a gold medal at the 20th National Sports Festival in Benin, Edo State.
In spite of her condition, she won the category for Lagos State in the Mixed Poomsae category in Taekwondo alongside her male counterpart, Arowora Roqeeb.
The heavily pregnant woman could be seen throwing kicks in the air without being held back by the baby in her.
Aside from winning a gold medal, she also won Silver in the female team Poomsae category and an individual bronze in the same category making her one of the leading medalists at the ongoing 20th National Sports Festival.
