Professional Nigerian footballer, Ahmed Musa has signed for Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Kano Pillars.
The former Leicester City forward has been without a club since the start of the ongoing season after leaving Saudi Arabia side, Al-Nassr.
Musa signed for Kano Pillars under the Elite Players Program of the League Management Company (LMC) — a scheme established to encourage Nigerian stars to play for home-based teams.
As per the Chairman of League Management Company (LMC), Shehu Dikko, the 28-year-old Super Eagles captain will not be paid by Kano Pillars.
Dikko disclosed that the superstar rejoined Pillars because he wants to give back to his boyhood club.
