At least 8 thugs have been killed by security officers, after they reportedly attacked the Orlu Divisional Police Headquarters in Imo State on Thursday night.
The yet to be identified thugs were repelled by joint security officers.
Source reveal that the gun clash between the security officers and the thugs lasted for about 3 hours.
About 6 vehicles were recovered during the attack.
Details of the report are still sketchy as SP Ikeokwu Godson Orlando, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, was unable to take his calls or respond to text messages forwarded to him.
