“There was light when it rained heavily last night” - Nigerian Comedian, AY doubts if he is still in Nigeria and not UAR

In Nigeria, interrupting the power supply when it is about to rain is a common practice for the agency involved in power supply.

Sensational Nigerian comedian, Ayo Makun alias AY has taken to social media to express his doubt as PHCN and DSTV have never disappointed Nigerians in the situation of a heavy downpour.

For the jester, it seems he has been migrated from Nigeria to UAR without knowing.

Well, this statement came after the Nigerian government proposed a bill to rename Nigeria as UAR (United African Republic).

He wrote:

“It was raining heavily last night and there was still ‘NEPA’ light, plus my DSTV was still showing clearly. Make e no be say we don migrate from Nigeria to UAR without knowing o.”

Dickson101 recalls that celebrities like Mercy Aigbe felt frustrated about the proposed plan to change the country’s name to UAR.

The actress added there are more pressing issues than the change of name in the country.
