Nigerians Remember The 1st-Ever Female Combat Pilot Who Passed Away Exactly A Year Ago

Many Nigerians have taken to social media to remember the 1st-ever female pilot, Tolulope Arotile who passed away a year ago.

The beautiful pilot passed away on 14th July, 2020, and she was killed in an accident at the Nigerian Air Force Base, Kaduna.

2 years into her career, she had acquired 460 hours of helicopter flight, which was an outstanding performance for a combat pilot and she played an instrumental role in the combat operations against insurgency in Northern states.

At the age of 24, she was the first Nigerian pilot to fly the Agusta 109 power attack helicopter after she completed tactical flying training in Italy.

She kicked the bucket after her old colleague, Nehemiah Adejor reportedly hit her with a Kia Sorento SUV Number AZ 478 MKA while trying to greet her.
