Sunday Igboho’s Charms Didn’t Fail, He Fled To Prepare For Another Day Fight – Ifa Priest Says

Ifayemi Elebuibon, an Ifa Priest has bared his mind about the recent attack on the residence of famous Yoruba freedom fighter, Sunday Adeyemo alias Sunday Igboho by the DSS.

As per  Ifa Priest, Sunday Igboho’s charms worked to the fullest and saved him on the day of the attack. He added that he escaped the raid to prepare for another fight.

He told BBC Yoruba that the famous Yoruba activist didn’t forsake his people during the attack.

In his words;

“It is not that Igboho’s charms failed him, the whole raid was an attack, an invasion, a tragedy.

“He was not prepared for the attack, it happened all of sudden but he who fights and runs lives to fight another day. A warrior who fights and doesn’t know how to retreat will perish with the battle. He (Igboho) ran to fight another day, he didn’t abandon his followers because if he hadn’t escaped, it would have been a different thing entirely.”

It is no news that the Department of State Services attacked the residence of Sunday Igboho on Thursday and the raid led to the death of some people while others were arrested.

In another development, a monarch in Osun State, Olowu Of Owu-Kuta, Makama Oyelude has urged Yoruba Nation freedom fighter, Sunday Igboho, to show up at the police station and own up to his mistakes.

Oba Oyelud spoke with journalists on Sunday and associated himself with all forms of secessionist agendas. He also advised Igboho to turn himself to the police and face the law.

He said, “I am not part of agitations for secession by separatists and unpatriotic Nigerians and I can’t be part of it. Even though Nigerians doesn’t favour all, we shouldn’t secede. Without consultations, you cannot be talking of secession and that’s why even the Obas are not discussing it.
