Popular Nigerian songstress, Temilade Opeyemi alias Tems has expressed gratitude to God Almighty as she reminisced on her experience in the Uganda prison last year for flouting COVID-19 rules and guidelines in the country.
Well, in a post shared via her official handle on Twitter, the singer said while she was in prison, she sat on the floor bonding with women and children.
Nevertheless, she cannot believe some of the things that had happened in her life after the incident, and she does not take God’s love and awesomeness for granted.
She wrote: “This very day last year, I was sitting in Prison in Ugandan bonding with women and kids. I almost can’t believe the things I’ve seen so far. All I can say is too awesome and He will always have the last and final laugh.”
Dickson101 recalls that The Ugandan police arrested omah Lay and Tems after their performance at The Big Brunch, a concert held at Speke Resort, Wavamunno Rd, Kampala.
Nonetheless, the Nigerian government secured their release due to public outcry, and they arrived in Nigeria
