Fuel scarcity: Actor, Richard Mofe Damijo feels sorry for small businesses


Legendary Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe Damijo has weighed in on the alarming economic downturn in the country.

With citizens suffering fuel scarcity and price hike  in the prices of diesel, RMD provided moral support to the masses.

He lamented bitterly over the scarcity of fuel, hike in diesel price and non-existent power supply.
RMD revealed that the past few days have been emotionally draining.

He expressed his sympathy for small business owners who can barely survive during these trying times.

The thespian noted how they need these essential necessities to thrive.

“These past couple of days have been draining..in between the scarcity of fuel, hike in diesel prices and almost non-existent power supply, I can’t help but feel so sorry for small businesses who can barely survive and need these basic necessities to thrive”.

RMD isn’t the only one who has weighed in on the fuel scarcity.

Nigerian singer Peter Okoye of the Psquare music group also chipped in on the looming fuel scarcity across Nigeria.

In a post shared on Instagram, Peter Okoye opined that anyone dating a fuel attendant this period has a high level and has made the right decision in life.

In his words: If you are dating a fuel attendant this period, your level is high. You made the right decision in life.
