“Soar with the angels” - Late Actor, Karibi Fubara’s wife, Yolanda Okereke, tearfully bids her hubby farewell

Yolanda Okereke, the wife of late Nollywood actor, Karibi Fubara, bids her hubby a farewell as he is finally laid to rest today, 11th February 2022.

The sudden demise of actor, Karibi Fubara hit the Nollywood industry in December after a long battle with cancer.

Taking to her official page on Instagram, Karibi Fubara’s wife shared a picture of their wedding as she urged her husband to soar with the angels.

She wrote: “S. O. A. R. W. I. T. H. T. H. E. A. N. G. E. L. S. Bara And Bambi HesAlive.”

Dickson101 recalls Actress Lala Akindoju penned down an emotional yet beautiful tribute in honor of late actor, Karibi Fubara ahead of his funeral service.

Mourning him on Instagram, Lala Akindoju wrote “Karibi was no ordinary man. Once you meet him, you never forget him. I first met him when we were shooting the very first Season of #GidiUp for Ndani tv. The first thing I noticed was his professionalism and how serious he took everything he did. Karibi too the phrase “an actor prepares” to the next level.

He would ask for time and when he said he was ready, he was READY. We became friends and colleagues and we would compare notes on different industry issues, casting matters, actors and quality of work. When it came to work matters, Karibi was a professor. No holding back, no cutting corners and always wanting better.

Working with him as BODE on #TheSmartMoneyWoman is one of my most beautiful work experiences with him. Karibi never said no to auditions. Even though he was very successful in his other line of work, he showed up for EVERY audition & gave it his all. We couldn’t have had a better BODE. I’m so glad I told you this every time.”
